Something "Green" to Think About

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

An existing home, by its very nature, is a reusable resource. It is a great start to "going green." Yes, as one renovates or maintains an older home, green thinking should direct the process. However, not enough is said about the huge impact one makes by simply buying an existing home. Can you think of a larger item to recycle.

Marie,

I love older homes.  Structurally they are built solid, and they have charm and a homey feeling.  The older barns are the same way.  Look how long they have lasted.  I would renovate an older home anytime before considering building a new one.
