Since Sunday the fires in Brevard County on the East Coast of Florida have destroyed about 20 homes and a lot of other homes damaged. Estimates are at $9.6 Mil. 15 sq. miles are scorched, I-95 closed causing major problems for cars and trucks, schools are closed.

Yes, nature has unpleasant surprised for us. But this time it was not nature. The police have arrested Brian Crowder after a resident saw him throwing a small object from a passing car causing a small fire. This small object was a Molotov cocktail. Police stopped the car, but the guy tried to escape on foot. Again, resident spotted him running and helped police to nab the guy.

Police say that he has problems with the law for over 10 years. They are holding him on 6 parole violations, but have not yet charged him with the arson, trying to determine whether he is behind all of the fires in Brevard County, or a copycat.

It is really bothering to look at his photo and trying to come up with any justification of this heinous crime.

I am deeply saddened that no matter what you do, there are people like this Brian Crowder, who would do this.

My heart goes to all those who lost their homes. To all those who suffered because of the arsonist.
