Today has been a very laid back and relaxing day. No rush, no hurry, no plan of action and it's been so what has been needed. Since it's been so hot here this past couple of months it's really put a damper on my hiking/walking and thus the weight loss stalled out a bit (but I might give Dick Greenberg 5 2 plan a try! I looked ahead to next week and it looks like it could be back down into the high 70's at 6:00 am so it might be my chance to get out there - yea! A lot of folks at this time of year start to get cabin fever here in Phoenix - much like folks up in cold country get in the winter.
Yesterday we spend a little time in the back yard trimming back a few plants and it heated up way too fast. That meant we needed to jump in the pool and cool off! It was so relaxing and refreshing!
We had a few friends over last night for BBQ and pool party - along with 2 adorable dogs that are best buddies with Barney. I forgot to take pictures of the 3 of them playing - very cute! The littlest dog discovered the baby bunny we've been coaxing along this past month or so - which I wasn't too happy about. But...the bunny managed to out run them all and get through a fence. That I was happy about. We both know the bunny needs to be out on it's own soon or we could end up with OMG who knows how many bunnies. Nope!
