It's That Wonderful Time of Year Again
Capitola will be celebrating it's 35th Annual Art & Wine Festival! The Village will make room for the thousands looking to partake in some amazing art, wine, food and entertainment.
This weekend, September 9th and 10th, will host a full line up of events with over 160 artists, 22 of the areas finest wineries, 25 delicious food vendors and some great local entertainment! This is a great opportunity for local artists to showcase their work in a fun, artisan setting.
And good news! It's free admission!
While it may be an art and wine festival, there's certainly something for the whole family. The Festival will host a Kid's Art and Music Area, so kids can dance and create their own works of art!
For those wanting to participate in the event's wine tasting, you must purchase a 2017 Festival Wine Glass & Tasting Tokens; $12 buys you a glass and each token is $1. Experience some of the extraordinary local wineries such as Stoors Winery, Soquel Vineyards, Alfaro Family Vineyards, Silver Mountain Vineyards, and much more!
To avoid heavy traffic, the event will be providing a shuttle that leaves approximately every 20 minutes from the Capitola Mall and drops off in the Capitola Village. However, there will be parking in lots behind City Hall at 420 Capitola Avenue. For those who choose to bike there, free bike valet parking will be available in two locations; the David Lyng parking lot at the corners of Capitola & Stockton Avenue, and the Monterey Avenue festival entrance.
