Is today Saturday? If so, why does the local paper have Sunday's (tomorrow's) date? Yes, the days have all started to look the same: for the past three days, the news cycle has been "all Irma, all the time". The incessant coverage of and preparations for Irma and, now, the boarded up house where day is night and night is day, have me unfocused. It seems as if all the world is in wait mode.
Are there really places where realty deals & open houses are taking place? Are there conversations that don't begin with "Do you have what you need?" or "Are you evacuating?" This multi-day event has me thinking of those I love, and yearning for my routine, however mundane it may be. So I came across this quote that, for myself and for others in this situation, sums up the moment:
Indeed...take care everyone.
