The 2017 Texas REALTORS® Conference was held September 7 - 11th at the Hilton Anatole. It was a great opportunity to host an AR Dallas Meet-Up from 7 - 11 p.m. on Saturday, September 9th. Thanks Bob Crane for inviting agents from across the Nation to hold an AR Meet-Up. AR Members in attendance include:
- Emily Hudkins, Llano, TX
- Sharon Parisi of Dallas, TX
- Patricia Feager, Flower Mound, TX
and Divisional VP for Texas Association of REALTORS® Mike Hale, Arlington, Texas
Emily's last AR post was written on 6/15/2014. She is a fascinating Broker with an adventurous spirit and a passion for education. Llano is a very small town somewhere in the middle of Texas. Emily and her husband have ridden Harleys across many borders, e.g., Oklahoma to Wisconsin, Fort Walton Beach, New Mexico and more. She serves as MLS Chair for her Board and has held many titles. Emily has a wealth of knowledge and experience. This is the second time I met Emily at a TAR Convention. The first time was in Galveston.
AR Member Sharon Parisi is a dear friend to many Dallas Agents. She is warm and approachable, extremely intelligent and loved by many. I'm not surprised that Sharon and Emily clicked - both are educators! Sharon taught school for many years and continues to be an inspiration, especially to new agents. Sharon loves to meet new people. I made an instant connection with Sharon as a result of ActiveRain around 2014. We worked together many times. Her knowledge and expertise in the business is exceptional. Although this is the first time Sharon and Emily met, I feel as if I've known both for a long time. They are genuinely friendly and good people.
Mike Hale, Mike Hale Realty is not an AR member. I met Mike in 2009 when we were enrolled in the Texas REALTOR® Leadership Program. He is a Broker and currently serving the Association as Regional Vice President. Mike and his family are involved in many Community Church activities, ministries, choir, and music. Mike has held Real Estate leadership roles throughout the numerous years in the business. His knowledge and expertise includes every aspect of Real Estate. Mike's conversations with Emily about ranch and animals, something they both know a lot about were fun to hear and very educational!
I am blessed to call them friends.
