Not even the threat of hurricane fallout could deter buyers in the real estate market in Bonaire GA this past month. Despite only 2 months worth of available inventory to pick from, consumers still had a good time, finding homes to their liking in this Houston County GA market.

Bonaire GA real estate agents have to be pleased that both buyers and investors are making life easy for their seller clients. It is a decent time to get your home seen and sold in this community right now, especially if the home is market priced to start with. As of this article (September 12th), there are 133 houses for sale in Bonaire GA. The highest priced listing in this market is currently available at $654,900 and the lowest is only $92,820. Square footage of available properties ranges from 1,070 feet to 7,986. Also, there are plenty of properties available in every price points to meet the needs of real estate buyers.

Consumers who are looking for a fixer-upper have limited choices as there are currently only 3 distressed properties available on the Bonaire real estate market. Fortunately, there has not been an increase in foreclosure/short sale homes in the past quarter.

The highest priced home for sale in Bonaire is a home located at 115 Southshore Court. Available for $654,900, this 7.9K+ square foot home has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a 3-car garage, and an inground pool. Is this the home for you?

There was a total of 54 home sales in Bonaire GA during the month of August 2017.  This represents the highest number of monthly sales in the past year (the annual average is 37 closings) and is 22 more closings than the same time period last year. The average sale price for these homes was nearly $203K and they took an average of 38 days to sell! The 12-month average for both of these categories is $210K+ and 68 days on market.

The average days on the market was decent for this community but sellers should not get complacent. Listen to your agent and ensure your home is market priced to give it the best opportunity to get seen and sold. The sales price to list price ratio in August was 98.31%, slightly off the 12-month average of 98.77%.

The most expensive sale in Bonaire real estate during August 2017 sold for $374K. The lowest priced sale was a bargain at $60K. In addition, 2 of the closings this past month were distressed homes.
