There is a challenge on active rain this month about our good and bad and ugly habits.
I will start with the ugly habit so that by the time you read this post I hope you will have forgotten about it.
I love Junk Food. If there is no time to have lunch I just stop at the drive through at the McDonalds near my office and get some fries. I get Strawbery milk shake in summer. Fortunately I do not do it often . I do not think I can get rid of this habit.
Bad Habits. I have saved a lot of things over the years for sentimental reasons. I have hundreds of photos from the pre digital days. I need to digitize and save in the cloud.
Good Habits. I am up early in the morning . I do not need to set the alarm. I have an internal clock . I plan my day the previous evening so I start the day full of energy. I look at my to-do list and get things done. I prioritize my activities and allow time for unexpected things that need to be done. I find time for my friends and family no matter how busy I am. I do not forget birthdays and anniversaries. It is easy these days because of our smart phones but I used to remember to mail cards to my family allowing enough time for the cards to get there , in the days before cell phones. I have a great memory for dates.
It is so inexpensive to call India that these days I just call my relatives to wish them for their birthday and on holidays. I stay in touch with my extended family of cousins and aunts and uncles besides my brother in India.
