Anyone who knows me knows that I am ridiculously happy during September because as I obnoxiously like to point out to all who will listen, "it's my birthday month!"
Another reason that I am happy during September, and very thankful, is that this is the month that my niece Lizzie was born. Lizzie was born before I had my own children and I always think of her as my first baby. My sister is also a Liz, so we all affectionately call her Little Lizzie!
I've posted this photo before, but it truly is one of my favorites of the two of us.
Lizzie called me to sing Happy Birthday on my birthday and in a bit, I will return the favor.
Today, I'm thankful for family, especially my niece.
