Astounding destruction from Hurricane Irma

By
Real Estate Agent 0225218019

As of this morning there were 61 recorded deaths resulting from Hurricane Irma in the Caribbean and the U. S.

Some of the Caribbean islands were spared devastation from Hurricane Irma. Among these that were spared are: Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, Curacao, Grand Cayman, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, Trinidad, Tobago and The Grenadines.

The cruise ports in Mexico and Central America were not affected by Irma.

The U. S. Virgin Islands of Saint Thomas and Saint John were hit very hard. Saint Croix did not suffer significant damage.

Most of these islands depend heavily on tourism for revenue so the sooner they can get power on so that they can rebuild hotels, resorts and restaurants, the better.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who were affected by this killer storm.

It really was quite devestating wasn't it? I read this morning that for the first time in 300 years there's not a single person on the island of Barbuda. So sad!!

We have a trip planned during February, but we chose Cancun rather then the Caribbean and are glad we did Debbie Reynolds.

We are going to make our final decision this weekend of our destination. I had a thought that there could be another storm or two before November.

I think you are wise to reconsider Debbie Reynolds, this hurricane season looks like it is going to be horrible.

Thank you for this report. I've been trying to get information about the other islands and all I get is what happened to Cuba. I think prayer is powerful and we all can and should continue to pray.
