What is DOZER DAY?

Dozer Day is a kid-friendly fair-like event where the rides are dozers, dump trucks and other heavy equipment. The event is organized by the Nutter Foundation and benefits the Parks Foundation. With a professional, licensed driver at their side, kids have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to drive a big yellow bulldozer, backhoe, loader or other piece of heavy equipment. It's a dream come true for kids--and great fun for the whole family!

What can the whole family do at Dozer Day?

Dozer Day is a fun event for the entire family. For grown-ups, a diamond dig and a tool dig are popular as is a picnic in the park and KUPL live on site. For kids of all ages, riding all kinds of equipment, panning for treasures, tire and pipe crawls and collecting stickers for the hard hats are top choices. Families can also look and climb over a collection of antique equipment , watch how curbs are made or even watch a concrete pumper in action. Adults may also participate in the Dozer Rodeo. A Big Hauler takes visitors around the entire site. Washington State Patrol, local fire departments, S.W.A.T. and Waste Connections all plan to bring equipment displays.
