The sun shines in Flower Mound, TX

No tragedies, losses, or drama, it's a good day!

My oldest sister has a birthday - so glad to know she's older than me

A long-distance phone call is in order, wish I could be with her.

T.V. is off. I have no plans on turning it on today.

Took care of business - that was easy!

I've been up since 3 a.m. and feeling great!

The sun shines brightly in Flower Mound, TX.

I'm reading a good Magazine, I highly recommend

Fall 2017, NewPhilosopher, "Fake News!"

It really IS a good day!

Communication is essential but it's good to shut down the news

don't let it encroach privacy, I've had enough of that, haven't you?

Here's what was written by George Orwell on 18 April 1930

"noticed that no event is ever correctly reported in a newspaper."

Or how about this a hundred years earlier by Henry David Thoreau,

"idle rumours and gossip into your mind was intellectual and moral suicide"

Extra! Extra! Read All About It!

Did you ever have newspaper stands on your street corners?

I showed houses on Friday, it's fun to show others what's behind doors

But not nice when seller comes in the back door to yell

I parked in his driveway. Seriously? He scared us away.

Why are some people so rude? Don't they want to sell?

And why weren't there instructions - Don't park in the driveway?

It's hard to figure out angry people or why instructions aren't clear

No Buyer's offer for that seller, not then, not now, not ever!

"And on the 7th day God rested"

Today I rest and reflect

News Reporters, the Media, or Angry People?

The Gospel Truth or just rumor?

Real or Fake. Listen or turn a deaf ear.

It's a great day for reflections

Good day for Deaf ear

Patricia, I think Sunday is a great day to rest and relax. I had no appointments today and was grateful. I did get an offer on one of my land listings and the seller has signed and we are waiting to close now.  I made a pear pie, went for a long walk with Zeke and plan to go to a Bible study tonight.  A great day here in Lewisburg WV. Wishing you a beautiful and prosperous week in Flower Mound, TX.

Rebecca Gaujot - We must be thankful for what we have and take notice of all the beauty around us as often as we can. Congratulations on getting the land listing under contract! I happy for you!!!

I never tasted a pear pie but it sounds delicious! I'll bet your house smelled good! When I think of homemade baked pie, I think of holidays and autum. Zeke is such a beautiful part of the family and Bible Study is the perfect way to spend a Sunday evening. May all good things come your way!

Sunday is my favorite day.  Perfect for resting and relaxing.  I swam a little mid-morning, and have absolutely nothing on my docket for the remainder of the day.

Myrl Jeffcoat - I miss swimming. I think it's great that you continue to swim on a regular basis. Taking care of yourself is so important. May you always be healthy and have fun things to see and do!

Patricia I think George Orwell and Henry David Thoreau must of had a telescope that was able to look into the future and seen the state of our major news medias today.

George Souto - Orwell and Thoreau are two of my favorite authors and philosophers. They really did foresee the future! I appreciate their perspectives, and of course, yours too!

Ron and Alexandra Seigel - Thanks for your good words and great support.

George Orwell was ver perceptive and a brilliant thinker. Do you think there are more people like him today? I wish I could think of one that's alive.

Hi Patricia- I had but a handful of goals today and the rest was devoted to football and catching up with ActiveRain. There are days when I only want to watch the weather channel, ESPN, or The Food Network.

Kathy Streib - Your Sunday sounded perfect! Isn't life better when we are in control of our actions and have less stress? I have to say, while preparedness is necessary for hurricanes, it wears you out 24/7!

Patricia the TV only gets turned on when it is a Red Sox game or Basketball Playoffs... this translates that there is classical music playing 14 hours of the day in my home office... or when I am in the car to and from appointments.... life is always boring in our household:))Endre

Hi Patricia... your comment about your older sister made my smile. When we were growing up my younger brother would always say "well, you're not that much older than me." Now he introduces me as his "much older sister."

Sep 18, 2017 03:45 AM
Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP

Nina Hollander - LOL!!! All my life I wanted to be older until I reached a certain age and then it happened, I started measuring myself by how much younger I was than those who are older than me. I must be in denial

By the way, is there really such a thing as sibling rivalry???

Yes, Sunday is a day of rest.  I sincerely wish that there wer not Open Houses on Sunday's, whoever thought that up?  Have a great week!

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP

Christine OShea - I don't really care to do Open Houses. I'm really surprised how many Sellers want them to be held, especially on holidays. I hope all is good on your end! You're a great person and I really enjoyed talking to you recently. You have a very clear and nice tone to your voice. I'll bet your clients love working with you!

Have a great week Christine!

Sometimes the "noise" of news .. and other distractions is just too much to handle, Patricia Feager .. especially these days.  "Click" ... and it goes away.

And people driving and parking on your driveway??????  Who would have ever thought that could happen???
