Active Rain Meetup in Milwaukee, WRA Convention Wrapup.

The Active Rain meetup in Milwaukee this time around had a tie in to our State Convention.

In planning this, I thought that it would be a great way to get many of the AR members in SE Wisconsin and elsewhere involved during an event that they were already taking a few days off for anyway.

Maybe my planning was off, maybe I did not promote it enough? But we did have a somewhat poor turnout, a great contrast to the record selling out attendance at the convention happening around us.

It turned out to be a great opportunity for Nick Crane and I to sit down, discuss a bit about AR, and a lot of summarizing of the many workshops that we attended at the convention.

At the convention, I attended more of the Broker track workshops like Verl Workman, while Nick attended more of the Agent track workshops, and we both enjoyed the two keynote speakers including Leigh Brown, who was amazing.

Scheduling the meetup at this time was a positive in that it did allow us to sit down for a few hours and coordinate our notes, share highlights and discuss how we could implement some of this into our businesses.
