There are so many ways to blog, but some have difficulty with it.  Here's some good advice from Debbie Reynolds.  And my advice is to just go do it:

Ask An Ambassador- What Should Realtors Blog About?
blogging or questions

This is asked often by new members of ActiveRain and also by those that happen upon writing block.  If you are just beginning to blog you may be questioning whether you have anything of interest to write about. First let me answer that by saying yes you do.

You have things going on in your local market that the public needs to know about. They need to know about neighborhoods, selling trends, your new listings and open houses. They need to know about financing options, places of interest, events and the basics of buying or selling a home.

They need to know about your specialties and what you are involved in so they can get to know you better. They will want to know what is fun to do in the area and the lessons you have learned along the way of life and in selling real estate.

Are you getting the drift? Let people get to know you. Let them know what you do and love. Let them know how good you are at your job by showing your expertise. Share market data and help educate them about the facets of a real estate transaction. Let your emotions show so you seem real. People like to do business with people they trust and they learn to trust by getting to know you.

Think like a consumer. Answer the questions they might have about home ownership, buying, selling or home maintenance. The public loves FAQ posts and we can write on these topics daily.

Bottom line is the public wants to be in the know about real estate, the economy, interest rates and your community. Fun facts and personal discoveries are also good subjects to write about.

The key is to write, get in a routine and as you do it, you will get better. Remember to make the font easy to read, leave some white space and add a little interest and color by adding a photo, clipart or graph. Get to writing and the followers will come.
