Sub Agency

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Preferred Reatly

Yesterday i went to a training class w/ a great trainer named Suzanne Ludwig she shared lots of great ideas to take your business to the next level.  Focused the most on following up with your database.

But my ahha moment was more about Sub-Agency and how it shouldn't be done? Anybody got any comments on that? I am really conflicted.

Kelly,

We don't do subagency in our office.  Subagency is when another company brings you an offer from a buyer  and says that they are representing the seller.  We don't do it now, years ago we did.

I guess I was thinking if the buyer didn't want representation but they got another agent to show, then that agent would be the procuring cause.  We don't do it in our office either but I didnt really understand why until yesterday. Thanks for responding.

Sincerely!
