Many people will ask what a decent person is.
That can be hard to define as everyone has their own idea of it.
Some people are just nasty all the time and I feel sorry for them.
A few are overly nice to the point of making you diabetic from the sweetness.
But I fee that to have a happy life you need to be nice to people and treat them better than you would treat yourself.
And you know what...it doesn't cost anything.

Totally agree with you it costs nothing to be nice and decent. I learnt from my dad to treat everyone the same, the janitor, the waiter at your table, the richest person you meet, as he said they all put their trousers on the same way...
I aspire to be more than decent in my everyday life but decent is just average in my book William Feela
