Now I have seen it all - - - Halloween has been cancelled

By

Halloween stuff is out and its over a month away.

I was in Costco yesterday and the Christmas crap is out already. I hurried and grabbed a" first of the season" pumpkin pie. I worried Thanksgiving might be canceled as that was the only sign of it.

I  think of all the disappointed kids that Halloween has been canceled. I think on Halloween I will hide under my covers and hope no kids come by.

On the brighter side the stores will not have the expense of  unwrapping all the orange and black wrappers an re wrapping the unsold candy in green and red.  What say you?

Pretty funny commentary on how the seasons come and go, in the retail world versus reality. They can still get their Halloween decorations at Home Depot!

Hi Rob - I have seen both in the stores.  It is the race for sales in brick and mortar stores.

Hi Rob- ugh.... I can't take it!!!  I'm just getting over summer and school starting, and now they want to push us into the holidays. Life goes too fast anyway so why rush it.

It is an amazing phenomenon isn't it? Don't worry about Halloween. I'm sure somebody is going to salvage the holiday. ;)

It's all moving so fast. No need to push a holiday so far in advance. Such a shame we cannot enjoy each one individually!

I have a funny feeling that the only people who complain about the holidays coming up too fast are adults. For kids, everyday is a holiday, or a day to anticipate a holiday, or a celebration with family because of a holiday, or a project from school to work on for the holidays.

I guess the moral of the story is, we should never stop being kids.
