Last night I went out on my deck after dark and just was taken in by the lighting I have designed. I have a magical forest in the evening and I just marveled at how far my yard has come, and how much I have done since moving to my forever home some five years ago. I tried to get a picture but couldn't capture it. I then decided it was enough just to have and enjoy it myself.

Hi Barbara. The yard is a bit shabby now after the dig to change the waste pipes. Many annuals are gone and the leaves are falling. At night it comes to life but my camera and I can't capture it. Thanks. Sheila

Several days ago, I had a little frustration trying to capture the Dawn Patrol of the Reno Balloon Races on a darkened 5:00 am sky. I finally gave up and enjoyed the moment in its full glory rather than through a camera lens. I'm glad I did.
