You really don't have to look far for inspiration when you're in the heart of the Rose District. And every visitor to the festival gets to vote for the People's Choice Award winner. So, take the time to look at each and every submission carefully before you cast your vote.

In addition to the chalk artwork, dozens of artists set up vendor booths to showcase and sell their wares. They include painters, photographers and stone carvers among others. See what some of these artists have created using only recycled items.

Musicians perform live both days on the festival's main stage. But that's not all. Keep an eye out for stilt walkers, jugglers, hoola-hoopers, unicyclists and even a living statue or two. All businesses and restaurants in the Rose District will be open during the Broken Arrow Chalk it Up Festival 2017. Many promise discounts and specials throughout the two day festival. Step inside any of them to take advantage of these deals.

We have an annual Chalk it Up festival here in Sacramento each year too. Usually, it is on Labor Day weekend.
