Google Alert Works ! We had to Run out and get the Newspaper Yesterday :)

If you haven't signed up for Google Alerts on your Name, Company Name or Slogan...

consider doing so soon!

Yesterday morning we got an email as follows:

Google News Alert for: jeff safrin Local real estate scene
gets exposure on national TV, Post Tribune - NW,IN,USA

so I sent Jeff out to get the Local Newspaper ( we usually just read the online version ) and BOY am I glad he did !

We knew the press was going to run this story, but we did not know when... ( we actually thought it would be a "filler" and were surprised at the placement).

Thanks to Google Alert - we did not have to stop and check the News stands daily!

Thanks to Active Rain and the many BLOG posts we've seen that encouraged us to try this service.

We now know just how well it works:)

That's great. I have been using the Google Alerts for a couple of months now and it amazes me at the things that pop up.

What I want to know is how you got to the produces of the show to let them know about your area???

i Love google alerts it also helps me keep a leg up on the competition and see what people are searching for and whats coming up. I love it when I see me on there :)

I do consider this a must for me even though there are a lot of alerts that come into my email box. I have caught some interesting things as well!

Jeff/Grace, I have tried this and when I put in my name, it keys on just my last name and gets slaughtered with emails. I need to try it again.

I have never tried Google Alerts. I need to try this tool out. Thanks for sharing Jeff & Grace. Have a great weekend. Great post.
