When I first got my  Real Estate license, I didn't really have a plan. My goal was to get my license! Then I started reading books and got a little nervous about the job itself to be honest. I read how to choose a Broker among so many other things. Well, I did absolutely NOTHING that I had read about (typical me to do things opposite of what someone tells me! I always think I have a better way! Hah).

Well fast forward several months...yes it took me several months to start actually using my license. I saw an ad in the local Newspaper about Century 21® Towne Adams looking for agents. So being as ambitious about Real Estate as I already had been (done absolutely nothing), I cranked it up a notch and sent in my resume.  Bold move, I know!

Well Towne (That's pronounced Town with an E townE) Adams called me a few days later and set up an appointment. We talked for a long time; it felt like a visit with an old friend. So off I went feeling good about our meeting then just drug my feet through the summer, goofing off with my daughter as I usually do...then finally made the decision to start working in Real Estate with none other than Century 21® Towne Adams as my sponsoring Broker.

No, I never visited or interviewed another Broker (I don't recommend this, you should interview many; I just knew it was right for me).

I couldn't have been more correct about my one interview decision. Towne is one of the most decent Human Beings I know. He is a good friend and mentor making him an excellent Broker.

Towne is the kind of person that will stand up for you not matter what. He has a great sense of humor. He is honest and trustworthy.  He is approachable and available. He is sensitive to each individual's needs. He is supportive. He is respectfull. He is encouraging. He is open to new ideas. He is calm, and level-headed.  He is the kind of person that would never intentionally cause harm to anyone. He is IMO the BEST Broker around.  

And by the way, it was Towne Adams who really got me started here on Active Rain in a very roundabout way. From day one, Towne talked about blogging...we rehashed the subject many times. If it weren't for his persistence, I don't know if  I would have ever started to participate on AR or anywhere.  Towne Adams has since joined AR himself along with most of my office and it all started with HIM.
