Homegrown Terrorism - Sucks !!!

I can hardly believe it, the Oklahoma FBI have just apprehended a "CrackHead" with a 25 gallon drum of Cyanide, that he was trying to sell!! The moron wanted an AK47 assault rifle, along with a thermal imager and $10,000.  I mean, how dumb can you be, he got caught on tape! I'm sorry, but this troubles me to think that some Okie from Muskogie can have his hands on this and in the market to sell it to whoever. Take a look at the newsfile, he doesn't look the sharpest crayon in the box if you know what I mean.  He probably has a MySpace with the display name of Cyanide Dude. I can tell you as a Volunteer Sheriff, that you don't want anything to do with cyanide., leave it to the professionals to handle, if however you do come into contact with some, here are some numbers you might want to have handy:

  • Regional poison control center: 1-800-222-1222
  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
    • Public Response Hotline (CDC)
      • 800-CDC-INFO
      • 888-232-6348 (TTY)
    • E-mail inquiries: cdcinfo@cdc.gov

And then of course these numbers may come in handy if you run into a "Crackhead" trying to sell it:

Your Local FBI Office

The FBI has 56 field offices centrally located in major metropolitan areas across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. We also maintain about 400 resident agencies in smaller cities and towns across the nation. Each field office is overseen by a Special Agent in Charge, except our offices in Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington, D.C., which are managed by an Assistant Director in Charge due to their large size.

There are several ways to find your local FBI office:

1) Click on your state/region on the U.S. map below.
2) Use your ZIP Code.
3) Search the alphabetical list of field offices by state.
4) Search the alphabetical list of field offices by city.
5) Check the states and counties served by each field office.

If you wish to report a tip on crime or terrorism, you can also do so by using our online public tips form or by contacting your nearest FBI office overseas.
