The Clarksville Downtown Market has it's final market of the season on Saturday Oct. 14. This has been a great season and the vendors have been exceptional. Some came only a few times and others were there every week. This makes each week fun and different.
Clarksville Downtown Market has had a full array of colorful fruits and veggies, crafts and foods. Now that fall is here the fall flowers, gourds, squashes, pumpkins, Indian Corn and fall decor are big items.
The baked goods, handmade items, honey and preserves are good to take home. Each week the variety changes so for the remaining Saturdays to stock up.
Everything at the market is either homemade or home grown or natural. You can pick up something good to eat for breakfast or lunch at the food trucks. Musical groups offer entertainment while you shop.
The times of the market are 8am to 1pm on Public Square in Historic Downtown Clarksville on Saturday morning. The Clarksville Downtown Market has been voted as the best farmers market in the south.
Remember to bring a tote to carry your purchases and bring lots of cash. Some vendors take credit cards which makes it easy for shoppers. You will love discovering all the bargains and finding gifts for the Christmas season.
