Oh, my, I'm SO overdue with updating this travelogue series! Bad girl!! The last one was August 22nd. Been travelling a lot myself, and just haven't had the time. My apologies. Let's get traveling!
Welcome to the ongoing series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our 137th week!
Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
I must be an eternal kid at heart, because primary colors always make me happy and Myrl Jeffcoat delivers this in spades with her Reno Balloon Races. What fun!
We are still "high up", but this time visiting a gorgeous lighthouse on the island of Kilauea in Hawaii. Jeff Dowler took some eye-popping photos and this pictorial is not to be missed.
Now we head to The Big South, but it's not the south you may be thinking of! Shirley Cicero takes us along on her hike in Larimer County, along the Poudre River. Come visit Colorado!
Now, after balloon races first thing in the AM, then taking the stairs up to the top of the lighthouse and a good long hike in Colorado, don't you want to get some great food and have wonderful lodgings to complete your day? Well, you will have to head to Louisiana for this overnight stay! Nottoway Plantation, here we come. Faye Schubert is our guide.
Please don't forget to comment on these blog posts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels.
