Say it ain’t so – Laws designed to protect scammers in their art of deception. Is it true?
I’ve been looking over a few emails I know are scams, and a few others that, well I would just throw them in the trash, but I want to share these things, to help other people see what is happening under our noses that just don’t smell right.
The main point I saw was, scammers are now using disclosures that could serve two purposes. Adding a disclosure makes emails look more authentic. They may also help to protect scammers, and/or open doors for scammers to use new copy right laws to actually sue people like me who post stuff like this on the Internet. Say it ain’t so — I may be breaking the law by warning people about scams. Where is this world going???
Here is an article with pictures and a full run down on points to watchout for on email spam.
