Is Keeping Your Home on the Market The Best Solution in Danbury,CT?

By
Real Estate Agent with William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty CT RES.0783448

If your house been on the market for several months without a sale, something has to not be working. Either the marketing hasn't been effective or perhaps you have not been allowing as many showings has there's been requested. Another possible reason why your home could be sitting on the market for longer than average time is that home buyers are not seeing the value your home based on the market.

I could understand that it can be frustrating trying to sell and not getting the results that you want. As the home seller, it is your decision whether keeping the house on the market, put the house on the market to rent or remove the house from the market for sale. Generally speaking, the longer the house stays on the market, the less activity the house is going to have, home buyers may wonder what is wrong with the house & the home buyers may try negotiate more.

Of course, if you decide to take the house of the market, your change to sell your Danbury area home isn't very good.  Sometimes I suggest the sellers might take a break from the market once their current listing contract is up. Following the time you were up for sale, I would look at the marketing that was down at your home, as well as think about any possible solutions to what some of the objections to the buyers had and try to address a couple of the issues as well as evaluating whether you think moving at all is the best solution. Be honest about your situation,I've even advised clients to stay in their current home.

If you are not sure whether to try to sell your home again or what the next steps would be if you might want to try again or just talk, I am here to help you. My name is Jonathan Hall-a Realtor with William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty in Danbury. If you would like to get togheter, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hear from you.

Jonathan if a house is just sitting on the market it is time to try something new.  However, I have seen houses sit on the market because the seller does not listen to their Realtor especially when it comes to price.
