Are you taking care of your family!

It is a sad day.

A Realtor friend was just served divorce papers..

I boiled down to lack of time for the spouse.

He is a top producer.

But at him he was a low producer.

This is the 3rd agent that I know of in the last 2 years.

All worked hard, but family showed that money isn't everything.

Stop and look at your own family and see if they are needed more of you!

Bill, nice reminder to be attentive to our loved ones.   I'm sure this post puts a smile on your wife's face.

Balance is such a key part of a healthy life (in all aspects). We cannot neglect our families.

True, there is no limit to what we do and some time we miss the most important things in our lives. Wish everyone would make loved ones the top priority in their lives.

Marriage changes everything, in all aspects. After marriage, you do not "need" to court your spouse anymore, after all they married you. To stay married, open communication and "courting" is vital.

I also know of people where their profession was so that it interferred with family life to much.

Unfortunately, if we don't balance family time with busines time, one aspect suffers.  Most of the time you lose on the home front unless you make it a priority

I have always believed one votes for that which most important with their time and effort together.  A lot of time not used correctly is as bad as too little time.  There will be a lot of people selling homes when you and I are gone.  No one will remember for too long how you helped them buy a house.

Divorce is a breakdown in multiple areas between all parties. The roots of this mischief formed in childhood that play out and surface in adult lives. Its complicated and unique to all those who enter into or go near it as is any new experience. Beyond the obvious reasons and there are many, lie the solvable issues should one go there to explore first for themselves and second to overcome. We were not put here to be defeated but to rise above all obstacles

I'm so sorry to hear, William. This bisiness can be tough on personal and family time if that is not a priority.

I agree - but I think sometimes the realtor is busy giving the kids and spouse what is being demanded at the moment.

Hi William- Very sorry to hear this about your friend. As in so many other things, we have to learn how to pick and choose what is important to us and prioritize our time.
