Dick Greenberg's 2017 Activerain Photography Contest - (The Real Life Edition)

Living Near Northport Village Mariner and The Long Island Sound was a dream for our buyer clients.

Last year we shared a photo that was taken right before our out-of-state buyer bought a home near the Port Jefferson Marina. Well, this year the same clients referred her brother and sister-in-law to us, and they wanted us to show them another Village. We showed them homes near the Northport Village Mariner surrounded by The Long Island Sound.

We took them over to the Mariner after we showed them the house they made an offer on, and captured this view. As we sat by the dock and took this photo, we didn't know at the time that the offer they made was not accepted. However, we later made a full price offer, and did win the bid the second time around!

Northport Village Long Island is a popular day-trip destination. Northport is an Historic Maritime Village in the Town of Huntington, on Long Island's North Shore. Orignially known as Great Cow Harbour, it was renamd Northport in 1837.
