Negative  habits can kill our chances to be successful, there is one thing that is sure to make you fail and that is not doing anything. If you dont do anything toward your goals you will not get anything at all, in fact the great achievers of all time failed hundreds of times before being successful, but they made things happen, they took action, they didnt think about how hard it would be or how much time it will cost them, they just did it.

The habit of putting things off will just get you frustration and lack of motivation to do more things. When you make the habit of working every day to move forward, you will see results, even small results and when you start experiencing positive results you will gain momentum and you will want to do more to achieve more.

But if you just procrastinate and every time that you have to get done something challenging you put things off, life will not be better, in fact our time is very limited and while you are sitting there doing nothing or doing things that dont matter, other people are running to get over you and achieve the goals that you would have gotten.

Even when you have some difficult or time consuming tasks to do, make the habit of break the problem in to small parts and then complete each part step by step, even if you are moving just one step at a time you are moving forward and you will get to the goal.

There are some negative habits that you should avoid, when you want to work:

  • Turn off the cell phone
  • Close the door
  • Avoid instant messaging or any other kind of communication.
  • Dont eat anything until you finish a task
  • Dont do task that are not focused on your goal
  • Dont make excuses

Those are just negative things that you should avoid and instead you should do positive habits like:

  • be proactive
  • set a schedule
  • write your goals
  • set deadlines
  • keep track of your progress
  • reward your self

Setting a deadline is the most important thing for me.  I sort of fool myself because I want to keep the deadline.  It I don't set one, things just don't get done.

Bond prices climbed for the fifth straight session Thursday, helped by a government auction of 30-year bonds. The dollar fell against the euro and gained versus the yen. That should keep mortgage rates on the way down. Ny tuesday of next week should be prime for locking conforming loans.
