By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Realty 179530

Charlotte's 2017 Parade of Homes by the Home Builders Association of Charlotte began October 6th running through October 8th and repeats each of the next two weekends, October 13th through 15th and October 20th through 22nd. More than 75 homes in almost five dozen communities in the Charlotte metro area will be available for viewing during the next three weekends.

It's a great opportunity to see the latest model homes, design trends, and furnishings from Charlotte's top builders, as well as get great decorating ideas from these furnished model homes. The annual Parade of Homes is often thought of as Charlotte's largest open house. Click here for the list of Charlotte's 2017 Parade of Homes.

Some 20 nationally and locally recognized Charlotte area builders will be showing off their homes and communities, including:

  • Alan Simonini Homes
  • Arthur Rutenberg Homes
  • Essex Homes
  • David Weekley Homes
  • Epcon
  • Fielding Homes
  • Meritage Homes
  • Mattamy Homes
  • Niblock Homes
  • Shea Homes
  • Taylor Morrison

.... and more.

Regardless of your price range or whether you want to live in south Charlotte, southwest Charlotte, Ballantyne, Waxhaw, Weddington, Davidson, Indian Trail, Lake Norman, Fort Mill. etc. you'll find a community and homes to explore. And you can use the Parade of Home's search function to help you narrow down your choices. Click below for the:

Hi Nina --- before joining ActiveRain, I had never heard the term "Parade of Homes" but they certainly seem to be popular around the country.   It must be an effective marketing tool.

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 ~ hi Sheila and Larry. Parade of Homes in Charlotte is a really big deal in our area.... then again, we seem to be the land of new construction here.

Michael Jacobs ~ hi Michael... we didn't have any parade of homes in NYC either... was a new concept for me when we moved here in 1998. It's a really popular event in Charlotte partially because we have had so much new construction here as long as I've been here.

Brian England ~ hi Brian.... you really need to have a critical mass of new construction to make a parade of homes really work.... something Charlotte certainy has.

If anyone knows how to organize a Parade of Homes, it's Nina Hollander. However, she's so organized and through, I feel confident she'd make excellent use of time because she values people and knows her market well!

Patricia Feager ~ hi Patricia... I so appreciate your confidence in me, but I have nothing to do with organizing Charlotte's Parade of Homes. It's a year-long effort by our Home Builders Association who do an awesome job.
