The theme for Halloween at the Dallas Arboretum is The Wizard of Oz. Membership for the Arboretum is a worthwhile investment for people of all ages and guests (limited numbers) are included. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz can be enjoyed in the Pumpkin Village (no additional fee) via the Yellow Brick Road and it's quite an adventure with incredible color and creative Oz displays!
If there was ever a time to consider membership, now is the time! Celebrate the season at the Arboretum. National Pumpkin Day is Thursday, October 26th from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Dallas Arboretum will be offering pumpkin flavored foods. Master Gardeners will be on-site every Thursday until November 16 to answer gardeners questions.
Have the courage, wisdom and a heart to become a member or simply visit often. Fees for admission are so reasonable. To accommodate many different schedules, Wednesday evenings after normal operating hours is extended from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every Wednesday through October 18, 2017.
Members only can start their day early daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Oktoberfest Gardens provide a traditional German cuisine that includes sausages and beer daily between 11 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Mommy & Me Mondays, and Tiny Tot Tuesdays through November 21, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. is a great time to connect with kids either at Pumpkin Village or in the Pecan Grove where activities include face painting, music, a petting zoo and artists too! Musicians in the park always make it more enjoyable too.
