We left Wood’s Lake after it skunked the fishermen in my family last Friday. We were in route to another of the numerous lakes and waterways along California’s Highway 88 where we hoped successful fishing might be found. It wasn’t long before we crossed a little bridge, and my daughter looked down at the stream below and yelped, “There’s fish down there.” Sure enough in the stream below, limits of trout were quickly caught, and satisfied smiles came to our faces.
It was time to find our way back home.
