Happy Hour Cocktail Selection: Dark 'n Stormy

 

One of my favorite happy hour cocktail selections is a Dark 'n Stormy. If you Google the name, you will see several variations on the portions. We use 2 ounces of Goslings Black Seal Rum with 4 to 5 ounces of Goslings Diet Ginger Beer over ice. A wedge of lime is an optional garnish.

Gosh, that sounds so refreshing! I loved the rum concoctions when I sailed in the Caribbean long ago...'92, wow--too long to go without rum!

"Dark and Stormy" - What a great name for a drink!  I remember having a special Rum drink in the Florida Keys, back in 2010.  But, I don't remember the name of the drink, nor much else after consuming it!

The terms of office for Mayor Jud Ashman and Council Members Michael Sesma and Yvette Monroe will expire in November.
