Raleigh custom home builder Stanton Homes announces a partnership with Sears Holdings, with joint discounts on new homes for Veteran and Military homebuyers.

"We're pleased to partner with Sears Commercial division of Sears Holdings Corporation on this important program for Veteran and Military homebuyers," said Stan Williams, CEO of Stanton Homes. "This discount from the Sears Commercial program adds an additional money saving initiative on top of the three percent discount Stanton Homes offers off the price of a new home in this special program."

The "Stanton Homes for Heroes" program offers a three percent discount to all Veteran or military homebuyers on the purchase of a new home - in addition to the deep value in every Stanton Home. 

The Sears Commercial offer includes additional discounts on appliances and select home furnishings in any Stanton Home to be built for a Veteran or military homebuyer in this program. 

"The additional Sears Commercial discount allows Veteran and Military homebuyers to save money on their appliance package, or opt to include a more premium appliance during the appliance selection stage, and stay within their budget," said Williams. 

A standard appliance package included in a Stanton Home consists of a built-in microwave, oven/range combination, and dishwasher - all of which are now available at further discounted prices through the "Stanton Homes for Heroes" program.    

The discounts available from Sears Holdings for Veteran and Military homebuyers purchasing a home through Stanton Homes also apply to select additional home-based purchases the families may need, including items such as:

• Refrigerators
• Washers and Dryers
• Mattresses
• Lawn and Garden Equipment
• Home Fitness Equipment
• Garage Storage Items
• Outdoor Grills
• Garage Door Openers
• Select Televisions

"We've partnered with Sears in this important program because Sears feels the same way Stanton Homes does about the service Veterans and the Military give our country," said Williams. "Together, we want to make it easier for these families to purchase a home, by providing discounts on the home itself as well as providing appliances and select household furnishings at reduced prices."

"Stanton Homes for Heroes" offers an exceptional three percent discount off any Stanton Home, whether complete, under construction, or custom designed on a Stanton Homes lot or the buyer's. This discount is available for all Veterans, retired, and active duty military, including all branches of the Armed Forces, Reserves, and National Guard, who have served honorably for at least one year. The Sears Commercial discount is available on any home to be built for a military family as part of this program.

"The discounts really add up," said Williams. "The three percent discount on the price of a new home amounts to $7500 off a $250,000 custom home.  With a 100 percent VA Loan, this amount could cover closing costs, allowing a Veteran or military homebuyer to get into a home with no cash out-of-pocket. Add on the discount from Sears, and discounts from other partners working to support military families, and you're saving some real money on an incredible home - a home that's already an outstanding value."

*Additional discounts are also available on the purchase of a new Stanton Home, with a $2000 closing cost credit through one of the builder's preferred lenders.
