Fulton Ranch - WOW!

Fulton Homes is a well respected builder in the Phoenix metropolitan area. As a matter of fact, in a recent JD Power survey, they were ranked 10th in the Valley. Chandler has been abuzz for sometime now over Fulton Ranch - a supposedly 'sparkling' little Master Planned Community to be located in South Chandler. Just how much buzz is there? Consider this. Mr. Fulton himself will be moving from his current home in Ahwatukee to live in the heart of Fulton Ranch. What else will Fulton Ranch have to offer? Well, to quote from the article in the Arizona Republic
"It will include 1,100 units, including townhouses, condominiums and medium- to high-end homes; high-end retail, like AJ's Fine Foods; a man-made lake stocked with 11 species of fish and surrounded by a walking path, and recreational facilities, including softball diamonds and other sports fields."
Not to mention Mr. Fulton's 17,000 square foot home in the middle of it all....
I recently decided to do a little previewing over there and see what all the hype was about. Three Fulton Homes communities (Gallery starting in the 500's, the Island starting from the 600's and Aegean Cove starting from the 700's if I'm not mistaken). Two Cachet Homes communities (Serenity Shores and Crescent Falls condos and townhomes).
Specifically, I checked ou the models within the 'Gallery' product. I was impressed. Beautiful layouts, charming/tasteful upgrades - they were nice! The specs at or near completion they had were ~600k fully optioned out. Not exactly dirt cheap by South Chandler standards, but considering the builder, the amenities, the location and the quality....
If you have any interest in this community, I'd be happy to take you out and show you. And in case you are wondering...there is a little time. It won't be built out until ~ 2011!
