Last year’s contest was so much fun I’m glad to see Dick Greenberg brought it back! I like the different categories and the celebration of the role of photography in our business.
Branding ourselves is crucial to compete for consumers in today’s world. First we have to understand who we are, what we have to offer and how we can make a difference. It’s critical to understand the target audience we want to connect with. Pairing these two takes time and research to see if we are a good match.
I made a decision a long time ago to market to my community and become “Top of mind” when anyone thinks of real estate. Do I want all the business? Certainly not! I want the business of consumers that value what I do and contribute to the neighborhood.
A branding photo that I use extensively in my marketing has brought me lots of name recognition. I even take calls from residents saying, “I want you to list my house and don’t forget I want one of those: “Look Who SOLD another one” in my yard when it sells!”
When my listing goes under contract I always post a rider that says Contract Pending/Taking Backups! Once we are through the option period and appraisal and are cleared to close…up goes my SOLD rider and this sign:
My newest video also includes this photo as well as the many posts I write about Canyon Creek. I am proud to say “I’m the most frequently hired Realtor® in Canyon Creek” and this photo has helped me reach this goal.
