and something pretty cool happened.
Background story:
In 2009 Rick and I attended Market Square Day in Portsmouth. I took quite a few photos. One of my favorite photos taken that day was of a boy, wearing a sombrero.
I love how he was just quietly sitting there, enjoying a snack. He was so relaxed and had such a sweet expression on his face...deep in thought.

This has always been one of my favorite photos, even though he was a stranger to me.

Over the years I've often wondered who this boy was and if he was still living in the Portsmouth area.
Yesterday morning I decided to post the photo on a public City of Portsmouth facebook page and see if anyone could identify him.
It only took 2 hours for someone to recognize and tag him.
Several people recognized him and it didn't take long before he commented and confirmed that is was him.
His name is Aidyn. He is still living in the area,
and he is still just as handsome as ever!
He gave his permission for me to share his current profile picture.
Mystery solved!
