Pondering on What’s Next
I’m not into predicting...well...you know...in the crystal ball sort of way although I do wonder on occasion about "what’s next".
Life. Real estate. Breakfast. Some things I have a bit more control.
And because it’s Sunday...I ponder. About what’s next.
During these pondering moments...I look to others for inspiration. And look what I found today from a particularly diverse group:
Listen to the silence. Listen to your life. Be present,
not just think about what's going on next week, next month.
Mike Dirnt
We know next to nothing of what we're going to know in 20 or 50 years.
Leon Kass
She looked at me penetratingly.
So I suppose you can figure out what happened next.
Iggy Pop
Wisdom consists not so much in knowing what to do in the ultimate
as knowing what to do next.
Herbert Hoover
What I don't like about office Christmas parties is
looking for a job the next day.
Phyllis Diller
History shows us that people are terrible about guessing what is going to happen - next week, next month, and especially next year.
Barry Ritholtz
When you're young, you're not afraid of what comes next.
You're excited by it.
Dave Grohl
And for Boston fan and friend Endre Barath, Jr.
No matter what losses happen in a given season,
the Red Sox always have next year.
Julianna Baggott
So what’s next for you?
Here’s to the possibilities...and the opportunities
