Who pays too much attention to years or decades from now? We are and should be busy living our lives in the "now" taking come what may or seeking out our desires and being content while discovering the newness of every single moment presented. That's right! No moment has ever been lived-in before nor will it be again making it one of the most valuable dynamics or experiences available
TIME-ON
What we don't realize is that the "life" clock is ticking away as we go about our little here & there. Time is so subtle a force. We don't realize it is our traveling partner unless we capture the moment we are in but then time ceases ( mystery )when we do. Problems, misfortune & illness tend to slow us down too.
PRACTICE THIS
Why not deliberately take notice in the very moment you are in without having a reason or circumstance? It is very simple to do. It is called PAUSE. The world suffers for the lack of it. People tend to be impulsive, hasty and even reckless at times getting out of one situation only to land into another
STEWARDING
One can refer to it as a life of reaction driven by emotions and random events. The elements and essentials of quality life were meant to be commanded and directed by stewards so that the results were predictable and satisfactory without effort mind you. They answer to you not you to them
TO DO or NOT TO DO
Instead, people have flocked toward herd mentalities, bunching up thus relieving themselves of personal experience, opportunity & identity. Life becomes a blur even dull & the next thing we know satisfaction & contentedness has eluded us. Most people at this point turn up the insanity (repeating over what didn't work but wanting a different result) instead of slowing it down for examination
DON'T BE FOOLED
It all comes down to quality if one lets it. Offsetting that is the quantity dynamic consisting of more is better & repeating it for maximum enjoyment. More travel, luxuries, sex, eating, material goods & vain experiences give one a temporary feeling of living life. Instead it is more of an illusion of existence. Why? It is repetitive in nature relying on that to be successful. Fulfillment or fool-fillment?
CONCLUSION IS AT WORK
Remember the "life" clock mentioned earlier? See how we leave it out of the mindset? Whatever is going on with the individual for the better or worse is on a count down. Remember also how I said how subtle time is? That too is adding up all so slowly but surely and going towards a conclusion to be sure
IN THE END...
The poets point out that living life via repetition & without purpose (depth) is existing while gently reprimanding reminding us that living life out surpasses existence. The moment is not elusive but instead ignored. Reverse that. Recognize the value of being in the moment. Everything comes more alive
TEST THIS FOR YOURSELF
Just pause long enough to come out of your own thinking and into the moment. Observe anything within your compass range meaning turn toward any direction and then look upon what you are seeing exclusively by PAUSING to do so. It now becomes a world unto itself. Repeat this choosing another direction and behold another subject with equal depth. This is called discovery driven by adventure
HELLO THERE
The blurs, the forgotten, the ignored and insignificant all become greater than our emotional drives or focused thinking. How? Life becomes hypnotic if you give in to it. Thus we are deprived of drinking deeply making us thirst. The more correct interaction is to observe & participate as prompted to do so.
IT'S ALL THERE? WHERE? HERE! WHEN? NOW!
Letting a moment go un-checked or un-realized is personal leakage of the greatest concern. Why? That is the "life" math that visits with a person IN THE END the title of this posting. If one didn't seize the day, the moment and the values given freely (whatever they are) they sail on without us. How sad to waste
YOUR CONDITION
We can have all we want of anything while we can. Look how this statement is a riddle unto itself. What is "while we can'? Who has a guarantee of anything? Now add this point to your journey and it becomes profound and meaningful. Food, shelter & clothing are available to all. What about the ones receiving it?
BEING GRATEFUL
We have complex systems that house a person within that require sustenance that feeds the soul & not just the machine that houses and drives it all if you will. What I am describing is a respect for life which requires each one to realize in the moment and in doing that respect... a gratitude follows nicely
BORN ONCE MORE
Now go do as you will but always having an awareness of the one who Created it all for the one sole purpose: to give unto you an abundant life beyond the wants and needs. Instead of being willful learn to become more care-free & in the process, light-heartedness follows. What then? A child is now born
