Real estate is a non-stop business- We can all relate to the early morning phone calls, the mid-day appointments, and the late night emails. Buying and selling real estate has no set hours.
But after 30 years of being in this business, I can say that I have learned a little bit on how to find balance in my life anywhere I can. One way that I accomplish this, is by dedicating some time each week just for me. I could not be more "in my element" than relaxing in my sunroom with my cats. There is nothing more comfy than unwinding with a warm little cat curled up on your lap!
This photo is me and Olivia hanging out for a quiet moment in between appointments, settlements, and my always full inbox. My other cat Winston is walking around just out of frame, but if he had joined us on the couch, it would have made it very hard to get back to work :)
How do you find time to relax? Do you sneak away for small moments of relaxation? I have found that even just a short, private moment of quiet can help focus my attention and give me renewed energy!
