This past weekend was our Halloween Spooktacular Benefit for the Collaborative Foundation of Wisconsin. We had a live band (some of whom are lawyers) who play 
because they enjoy it...and while they do charge a very nominal fee...all the money is donated to charity. Ours to ABCD ..After Breast Cancer Diagnosis and we thank The Mission River Street Band for not only helping US but another charity as well...it doesn't get better than that !
The entrance fee allowed you to enter two contests...one was count the candy corn in the jar...one was the Jack'n Jill O'Lantern contest which involved 
putting a little pumpkin on your head and drawing a face on it with a black magic marker. Names were put on the bottom of each Pumpkin and the game sponsored by one of our local lenders.
Besides our auction items we had 3 raffles...2 - 50/50 raffles...one $5 and one $10 and a $10 raffle for a fully stocked portable bar to be wheeled on the patio...your rec room or family room...complete with 
glasses....all to the lucky winner for $10 who could not believe his good fortune. I told him he needed a new house to put it in...we'll see about that...
