Years ago while walking down a boardwalk in Astoria, Oregon, there happened to be many occasions for a photo op. Usually being a photographer of nature and landscapes, this offered a different opportunity. Little people, ambling by with their parents and dogs of all shapes and sizes passed by me while I strolled along.
These two caught my eye. They had never met. I asked if I could take a photo of the two of them together. The pup's owner graciously held him alongside this little tyke. The baby made a high-pitched, happy sound and the pup's ear shot up and he looked at him as if to say..."what the heck was THAT all about??"
They seemed to have then engaged in their own private conversation and the pup looked completely intent upon what this little guy was saying.
A simple moment of connection captured in time.
