The second phase of Skye Canyon, a master-planned community in the northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley, was announced. This phase will be built on 214-acres with 11 neighborhoods by several homebuilders.
There will home neighborhoods from Pulte Homes, Woodside Homes, Richmond American Homes, Pardee Homes and Lennar Homes. Pulte Homes and Woodside Homes are both partners in the Nevada Builder Trade-In Program operated by the Smith Team. Pulte and Pardee expect to open model homes early next year and Woodside, Richmond American and Lennar will have model homes open later in the year.
Pulte recently closed on two parcels of land that are 15.39 acres and 16.81 acres – so they will be offering two different neighborhoods.

To go along with the phase two residential aspect of Skye Canyon work has started on Skye Canyon Marketplace that will include the first Smith’s Marketplace – a 123,000 square foot with a mix of clothing and house wares along with groceries. The shopping center housing this store will also have an assortment of other retailers. The expected opening is mid 2018.
Skye Canyon phase two offers many amenities including Somerset Academy of Las Vegas – a K-8 tuition free charter school opening in 2018, a network of walking trails, a 2-acre park and all streets will have designated bike lanes. There is the Skye Fitness Center and Skye Center all in the area called Skye Canyon Park.
