I'm glad my new spanking MacBook was delivered by the shiney happy FedEx man today, even though it's 8 glenwood colts neckpouring in New Jersey today. My fellow Active Rainer Jennifer Bukaty remarked on one of my blogs, "Hey old guy, are you still handcuffed to that PC? Get in the 21st century, Blotto and buy yourself a MacBook. You gotta be free!"

My kids have been flaunting Apple products to my face for years. Now I'm catching static from a thirty-something poet in gloomy Portland. Such are the trials and tribulations of buying and selling Colts Neck real estate!

Now in between the army of eager buyers who are just salivating to see 8 Glenwood Road, I can continue on my Path to Personal Productivity.

Seriously, this is a great house to sell. Probably a better one to live in. Once you're on top of that hill (the8 glenwood road lot is a magnficient 2.2 acres) you transcend all your cares and worries. At least I do. Communing with Nature on a whimsical Spring Sunday afternoon is a lot better than commuting with 11 million of the species on the New Jersey Turnpike come Monday morning.

But you can do both here. Many Colts Neck residents commute to New York City and Northern New Jersey. Colts Neck is centrally located with access to the Parkway, Route 9 and Route 18 and local bus and train transport.

Cathy, I just saw that but successful blogging is a long-term commitment. Always can use the encouragement. Michael takes some outstanding photos and they do this fabulous property justice!

Greg, It is smartly decorated. It's very comfortable, too. I'm quite clumsy and continually bump into walls. The owners did a lot of work and the house flows. I feel I can breathe in the space, Lay out. Relax. And the view of the property -- lush green and majestic trees.

Jennifer, Ha! Double Ha! I have used an I-phone since the first week of April. I was losing battery juice until my teenage son tweaked the settings. I specifically opened a Google email account and now when I receive an inquiry on my real estate websites I am instantaneously notified -- okay maybe not NASA light speed but I am now technologically implanted. 

So there!

Sandra, I put aside a suspense/thriller book for you and then lost it in the ocean of moving boxes. 

Jennifer, The phone is like an electronic Rubic's Cube. I don't think I want to know anymore!

Lisa, I'm there 2-3 times a week. They opened a lunch counter. My office is about 400 yards down the street. You better come and see me! The Colts Neck Cafe is also a cool place for a fresh, good lunch.

Lisa, That was my original trepidation with an Apple O/S. My son has guided me on a few occasions about navigating. I wrote my last blog on the Mac Book. I should have switched years ago. Makes perfect sense.
