Places to go and things to do to make the most out of your November in Hudson County.

EAT HERE → Frankie Bar & Eatery at 264 Grove Street in Jersey City. This contemporary Australian bar and eatery at Charles & Co features a menu with items like lavender lemonade and grilled shrimp with ginger. They also specialize in a natural wine program, with wines that are made with minimal technological intervention and no chemicals during the grape growing or wine-making process.

HONOR OUR VETERANS HERE → Third Annual Jersey City Veterans Day Parade of Heroes on Saturday, November 4. The parade starts at noon at Dickinson High School and marches down Newark Avenue.

CHECK OUT → Liberty Humane Society's Craft Beer & Whiskey Festival on Saturday, November 11 from 1-5pm at the Hoboken Elks Lodge. Sponsored by SPHERE Technology Solutions, this festival features the best of what the area has to offer in beer, whiskey, wine and local food, along with contests, silent auction, and 50 / 50 raffle. Tickets are $35 and all proceeds will go to benefit the Liberty Humane Society.

HELP DETERMINE THE BEST PASTA IN HOBOKEN @ → First Annual Hoboken Italian "Pasta Cup" on Friday, November 17 at Hoboken Elks Lodge. Benefiting the Hoboken High School Girls Soccer Program, this event will feature 11 of Hoboken's finest Italian restaurants competing with their signature pasta attempting to be named "BEST IN HOBOKEN" and win the Hoboken Italian Pasta Cup. Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the door, and include all food, drink, wine/beer.

HEAD TO → Jersey City Craft Brew Fest on Saturday, November 18 from 1-9:30PM at the Harborside Atrium in Jersey City. There will be two sessions with over 150 styles of craft beer, fantastic music, delicious food & wonderful vendors. Enjoy unlimited samples of craft beer, while enjoying the beautiful views of the stunning New York City skyline.

CRAWL FOR ALZHEIMER'S AWARENESS → 2nd Annual Hoboken Alzheimer's Awareness Bar Crawl on Saturday, November 18 from 2-8pm. The crawl begins at The Shannon and is a $30 donation to participate.

GET READY FOR THE HOLIDAYS @ → New Jersey Christmas Expo on Sunday, November 26 from 10am-5pm at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel. The Expo features handmade products, along with local breweries, wineries & food sampling and selling products, and Santa!
