Okay, so here's the news that you all have been patiently waiting for - the announcement of which Teams have made the cut to compete in the upcoming 'Makeover2Takeover' Contest.

We had some great responses to this event, making the decision of narrowing the field to 16 teams a very challenging task. But we feel confident that these Teams represent the best selections based on the applications that were received.

Drum roll, please!..........

The first Team challenge will be announced shortly. Best of Luck to all the Teams!

UPDATE:  There was an oversight in our application review. One of the Team entries was misplaced during the selection process. Based upon the merits of their application, they would have easily made the cut. So, rather than drop one of the Teams, out of fairness, we are going to increase the field to 16 Teams. We have added them to our list.

This should be interesting and rewarding for all.... especially those apprentices working with some good, qualified mentors.

On another note....  I know this is a real estate site and I asked this question when this contest was announced... what about loan officers?  Or even having them a part of this....  just food for thought.

Jeff, I seriously thought about taking on one of my favorite real estate agents as my apprentice. I didn't know how that would work, but she has asked me several times to help her "own" her market and I thought this would have given an interesting perspective.

This should be fun.  I have a couple of favorites to cheer for... and some others to cheer for too.  Somehow, I don't think there will be any losers.

Looks like a wide open field, kind of a RE.net version of the Sweet 16. Looking forward to seeing what the AR Team has in store for the challenges.

Congratulations and good luck to all the teams.  I also would like to see, like Missy, the progress and reporting done by the teams.  How can it be done?

IT seems that very few men want to participate. It should be a lot of fun for the participants. I'm hoping that the rest of us can learn something.

Congrats to all!! and good luck.  I can tell you that from my Project Blogger experience, everyone walked out as winners (I know it sounds lame but it's true).  It was a lot of work though! Can't wait to see how each team's style shines through.

Guess I'm a little late to get into the action.  I'll just have to watch from the sidelines! Good luck to everyone.
