The Transition from Fall to Winter 2017

One of our favorite things at Blue Olive Properties is the transition from Fall to Winter. For the last few months we have experienced beautiful tree leaves changing and falling away.  While the transition into winter is not quite so colorful there are other elements to life around the office that are great.  The first is that you gain a renewed interest in exercising or going to the gym.  If you’re like me, you want to be outside all the way until the weather is biting.  The nice fall days and crisp nights can keep you outside, knowing that they will go away once you are blanketed in snow. When it is cold and snowy out, you like to be inside, hibernating or working out.  Gym time is much easier to prefer if there is no alternative and it gets dark right when you are leaving the office.

In Highlands Ranch property management this transition brings about some much needed sanity to the office.  The weather seems to make people cool off as the degrees drop.  Some people go off to hibernate as well, and it results in a much quieter environment around the office.  Of course, there are the occasional days which turn into a snow day which then turn into a nightmare once the furnaces inevitably stop working.  But those days are few and far between nowadays.

This switch in seasons help your motivation as well.  Sometimes it can be easy to surrender to the cold and feel bad if the grey skies continue and the weather plummets.  But the silver lining there is that Colorado has sunshine most of the year and especially on days that are otherwise frigid cold.  This keep us motivated through the winter months, as you are not battling your emotions that are brought on from the weather.  There are also a handful of warm days peppered throughout the winter. Just today the temperature barely got over 60 degrees, when the whole week it has been cold and just last night there was some snow.  60 degrees in Colorado is shorts weather, and if you are lucky enough to get outside you need to take extreme advantage.

Blue Olive Properties works year-round to ensure your Highlands Ranch property management portfolio is well taken care of.  Call today for any extra details.
