Have you ever really seen a dog smile?

I have always heard people talk about a dog smiling but I didn't believe it was true until I got a Yorkie!

I had to post this because dogs really can smile! My little dog wakes up in a happy mood and has a big toothy smile every morning. I never really was a "dog" person but I guess I have become one since I got my little dog Jill.

My daughter Jewels is 17and my son Joey is 14 and I guess I decided as the kids got older I wanted a small dog. It took some getting used to at first but her full of life personality and that big grin brings a lot of joy to our home.

Thanks for the comment! Doesn't it make you laugh? I love it, Jill smiles when we come home too and just like you said even if it's for five minutes.

Mary, shes a psycho? I've heard some Yorkies are!

Debi, if you get one be sure to check the personality of the parents it makes a big difference and also I have found that the tiny 4 pounders are much more high strung. The mid size 7-10 pounds are much more calm.
