Little Osaka: This is a small cluster of Japanese and Korean restaurants colloquially known as Little Osaka on Sawtelle Blvd. Little Osaka is located on a neighborhood that people can walk along--enjoying various foods such as superior sushi, oden, okonomiyaki, tsukemen and ramen--without having to repark, or do more than cross the street. One of the top recommendations is Kiriko, a sushi restaurant serving things such as abalone, octopus, kohada, and mackerel. Little Osaka is a quick 5 minute drive from S Bentley street, making it an ideal spot to visit for a fun experience and great food.
Bergamot Station: Previously a railroad station, Bergamot Station has been turned into an art gallery featuring various forms of art, from paintings to sculptures. A customer on Yelp exclaims: “This is one of my favorite art galleries in Los Angeles because there is such an eclectic variety. It's nice to walk through each building and warehouse because no two galleries are really the same. The people who work at the spaces are friendly as well and I love how some of the galleries even have some postcards that you can take home with you.” The best part? The Daily Pint: Located on 2310 Pico Boulevard, this collegial bar is known for their single malts galore plus 30+ craft beers on tap, a shuffleboard and pool tables. Trader Joes: Of course, any neighborhood would not be complete without a local Trader Joes to drive to! This grocery store is located on Pico Boulevard which is only 2.2 miles away from S Bentley Avenue. “They are always serving samples, and the coffee is always quickly replenished if they run out. I love shopping at Trader Joes and this is typically a weekly stop for me. So many great items to try out!” (Yelp review).
