2017 Thanks Giving Posts

With just a few days to go before Thanksgiving Day, it's time to bring back our Thanks Giving posts. For sharing what is a blessing to you, there will be some bonus points from ActiveRain to say thank you.

This time of year means different things to different people but I think we can all agree that we are a truly blessed nation and people. Taking time to think about our blessings and to share what they mean to us makes them bigger and more special. 

 

All we have to do is look around and we will be blessed. Even after several days of rain, cold and wind in Chicago last week, I could see and appreciate the green grass and the colorful trees. Finally, the sun broke out and showed the pretty skyline, too. This fall season and been a long one and the colors are not ready to give it up. That is a blessing since fall is my favorite season.

 

Starting tomorrow, Sunday, November 12 you have the opportunity to write a post a day about something, someone or a situation that you are thankful for. The challenge will end on Thanksgiving Day. These next few days we will get to share with each other the joys and what blesses us most and it can be something small or something great.

 

Each Thanks Giving post will earn an extra 200 points over and above the regular points you get for posting a blog. Only one Thankful post per day will qualify for the bonus points. If you post one each day from November 12 through November 23, you will earn 2400 bonus points total. You can choose to write only on 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, etc. all the way to all 12 days. You do not have to do one each day unless you choose to do so. You can write one and skip a day or two and write another one. Bonus points are limited to 200 per day.

To get the bonus points, copy the links to your Thanks Giving posts into one comment and post in the comment section below. Bonus points will be awarded a few days after the challenge ends.
